Job Description
The Coordinator Water programs Sudan (CWPS), in coordination with the Program Manager, is responsible for the general oversight and planning of water related activities under the UNDP grant. Management of water related activities include: identifying strategic locations for digging of boreholes), mobilizing communities to create water management committees, working with the logistician to procure appropriate supplies, developing basic hygiene and sanitation materials and liaising with local authorities. The CWPS will work in close coordination with staff, local authorities and other members of the consortium to ensure proper and effective implementation of the water component of the grant. The CWPS will submit timely and accurate reports to the program manager, including, but not limited to, financial and programmatic updates and evaluations.
